ValueOptions® of California, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Beacon Health Options, and a health care service plan licensed under the California Knox-Keene Act to provide mental health/substance use disorder (“MH/SUD”) and employee assistance program (“EAP”) services. As a Knox-Keene Plan, ValueOptions® of California (“VOC”) is regulated by the California Department of Managed Health Care. As part of our continuing commitment to provide our valued members with the most effective, efficient and convenient MH/SUD care and EAP services, we have developed this web site for use by our California members.

If you have an administrative question or inquiry regarding eligibility, benefit coverage or any other matter relating to the VOC MH/SUD or EAP benefit plans, you may telephone our Member Service Department at 1-800-228-1286 or call the telephone number listed in your Combined Evidence of Coverage and Disclosure Form. Our Member Service staff will work with you to resolve the matter.

Language Assistance

IMPORTANT: You can get an interpreter at no cost to talk to your doctor or health plan. To get an interpreter or to ask about written information in (your language), first call your health plan’s phone number at 1-800-228-1286. Someone who speaks (your language) can help you. If you need more help, call the HMO Help Center at 1-888-466-2219.
